Thanks to the women's teams, Tricheck and San Diego Lacrosse , for making club history.

On the men's side, there has been a pause in the Player of the Week status, due to our main decision maker being out of town. That said, we have our votes in and will be updating the site with the latest entries by the end of the week.

We have some exciting news about the 2008 SCLA season. We’re happy to announce that the SCLA will have a sponsor for this year. The sponsor will be Rudy’s Pub and Grill, located in Newport Beach.

Here's a quick summary of what changes we will have this season and what to expect. Five of each team's games this year will be played at Newport Beach Peninsula Field, where everything will be set to play on one of the best lacrosse fields in the country (if not the best). There will be up to four games a day, with the field lined, goals setup, officials ready, scorekeepers and stats taken and then a central location to meet up with afterwards, if you so choose.

The 2008 season is now posted on the schedule page. We will have more information about the league, this year's changes and any other details as we get set for this season.

Welcome to the Southern California Club Lacrosse Association

The Southern California Club Lacrosse Association (SCLA) was established more than 30 years ago on the premise that sunshine and Lacrosse go great together. As with all great ideas, this has withstood the test of time.

Today, the SCLA is composed of teams from Los Angeles to San Diego, and the talent level has never been better. One can find numerous Division I and Division III All-Americans on every team in the league as well as a handful of professionals, both former and current.

Presently, the league is comprised of eight teams: 40 Thieves, Adrenaline, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Newport Beach Lacrosse Club, Quiksilver, San Diego and South Bay.

The regular season usually begins in March and goes through May. At the conclusion of each season, playoffs are held in June with the champion earning the right to play the Northern California Lacrosse Association (NCLA) champion for the state club title.
